Amanda Conroy, LMHC (Mental Health Therapist)
I specialize in supporting women through the emotional challenges of motherhood, whether you are adjusting to life with a newborn, managing the mental load of parenting, or working through unresolved trauma that impacts daily life. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and begin healing without judgment.
In our work together, I use evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy to build skills for emotional regulation and stress management, and EMDR to gently reprocess traumatic or distressing experiences such as birth trauma, past relationships, or childhood events without requiring you to relive them in detail.
Leandra Tate, LPN (Postpartum Nurse and Doula Expert)
I’m a mother of four—three boys and one girl—who was born and raised right here in Niceville. Growing up on the Emerald Coast shaped my deep appreciation for family, community, and the outdoors, all of which continue to influence both my personal life and my work.
I bring an extensive background in the medical field, with experience across multiple specialties, but my true passion lies in women’s health and maternal and postpartum care. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and currently work full-time in internal medicine, where I combine clinical knowledge with compassionate, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, I’m most at home embracing motherhood and spending time with my family. I love being outdoors—whether it’s boating, soaking in nature, or enjoying a beautiful Gulf Coast day. Music, movies, and meaningful connection fill my downtime and keep me grounded.
Caring for others isn’t just my profession—it’s who I am. I am deeply honored to join The Mom NP and support the incredible moms in our program!
Ellie Welch, OTR/L (Pelvic floor therapist)
Ellie is a licensed occupational therapist with specialized training in pelvic floor and postpartum care. She is passionate about supporting mothers as they recover and regain confidence in their bodies after birth, all from the comfort of home.
Ellie provides individualized postpartum rehabilitation focused on pelvic floor and core function, breathing mechanics, movement patterns that support healing, and guidance on habits that promote functional carryover in daily life. Care commonly addresses concerns such as bladder or bowel changes, pelvic floor or core weakness, pain or pressure in the pelvic region, and challenges with returning to daily activity or exercise.
Ellie values care that helps mothers move, heal, and recover in ways that are sustainable in daily life, supporting both function and confidence
